B. Organization
The organization of a Catholic parish is headed by a parish priest, appointed by the diocese and responsible for pastoral work and parish administration, which he carries out in the parish office. The parish priest is assisted by a parish council, which consists of lay members and staff (sacristy, cantor, catechist) and has an advisory role in economic and pastoral matters. The backbone of the parish organization is made up of lay believers active in the community, who carry out various services (charity, scouting, catechism).
Its operation is regulated by canon law:

C. Objective
The parish as a diocesan legal entity falls under the scope of the Civil Code (Ptk.) according to Hungarian law, since the relationship between church law (canon law) and civil law is determined by the Ptk., regulating the property, contractual and other civil law relations of the parish, the principles of good faith and honesty, and the constitutional status of churches and church law (Basic Law). The parish is therefore a legal entity that can be an owner, obligor, or entitled person, and in these capacities the general rules of the Ptk. apply to it, supplemented by the rules of church law. The basic principles of the Ptk. must be enforced so that the exercise of law is in accordance with good faith and the constitutional order.

D. Main points of regulation
Activities
1. Worship and religious activities
Main service on Sunday mornings, and regular mass and Bible lessons on weekday evenings.
Common prayer, singing, preaching and practicing communion.
It strengthens the connection to God, deepens biblical knowledge, and creates the experience of communal prayer, which is the foundation for spiritual growth.
2. Catechesis
Usually, depending on the school year, on weekday afternoons or during Sunday worship.
Religious education for children, preparation for first communion, confirmation, adult catechesis.
It ensures the transmission of faith to future generations and helps members understand the teachings of their religion.
3. Diakonia and charitable service
Continuously, as needed; more intensively during key periods (e.g. Christmas or Easter fundraisers).
Visiting the elderly, helping the poor with food or clothing, caring for the sick, and spiritual care [5, 6].
The practical realization of faith through works of charity; it helps in assuming social responsibility and supporting those in need.
4. Community building activities
Periodically, often on Saturdays or holidays.
Scouting sessions, excursions, choir rehearsals, shared meals (hospitality).
It develops a sense of belonging and strengthens personal relationships between members, making the church a true, sustaining community.
Revenues
The income of Catholic parishes is diverse, mainly coming from purse money, donations (1% of personal income tax, offerings), church contributions, funeral fees, church weddings and baptisms, and subsidies from the diocese (Bishopric/Archdiocese).
Expenses
Most of the income is used for spiritual care, the remuneration of pastoral professionals and the organization of church activities. Income is also used to maintain church property, which is necessary for holding church services (for example, maintenance, energy, taxes and insurance), and to cover the costs of the church’s own organization (salaries for the secretary and other staff, and reimbursement of the costs of volunteers). Administrative costs include the costs of managing and administering church property.
E. Remuneration
Members of the church council shall not receive remuneration for the performance of their duties. However, they shall be entitled to reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred in connection with their duties. The remuneration of pastoral professionals and other parish employees shall be governed by diocesan regulations.
D. Activity report
The parish is a vibrant community. They hold liturgical services, provide catechesis for children and adults, care for illness and bereavement, provide financial assistance to those in need, provide a meeting place for young people, host a scout troop, and ensure the preservation and maintenance of our (church) buildings. The parish council has full responsibility for maintaining a vibrant parish. They do this by involving as many believers as possible in the liturgy, celebrations, the diaconate, and other local activities.
E. Planned expenses
We have planned the 2025 budget based on average expenses. But we are always looking for opportunities to improve our church. Planned expenses: Our future plans include, among others, the renovation of the church’s main altar and the purchase of machinery for the care of the church garden.
